Second degree murder is an intentional killing that is not premeditated or deliberate, and is generally easier to prove than a 1st degree murder count. While a defendant may face significant prison time for such a charge, they may also receive a life sentence if for instance, a defendant kills someone by firing from a moving vehicle.
Contact my office and let’s discuss your matter. I will assist you in your defense, and possibly getting your charge(s) reduced.
